Since 2011, I’ve had the unique opportunity to photograph some of life’s most special moments for the families of Midland, Michigan and the surrounding areas. From my portrait studio in Mount Pleasant, radiant expectant mothers look and feel their absolute best while I capture this powerfully transformative moment in their lives. The studio is a place where new mothers relax and enjoy refreshments while I carefully swaddle and pose their brand new babies for artfully curated photography that captures their newborn’s tiny little features. To me, photography isn’t just another rushed checkmark on the “to-do” list, it's an experience that should be as enjoyable and as memorable as the photos themselves.
As a mother of two, I know first-hand that these moments don’t last long. Tomorrow, you’ll wake up and they’ll be a little bit older and a little more independent than the day before. I am blessed to be able to capture these once-in-a-lifetime moments for so many Michigan families.
Did you know that my friends, and even some of my clients, jokingly call me “the baby whisperer?” If I’m being honest, my heart swells a little with pride every time someone says it. Like I always say, “If you love what you do, you have all of the patience in the world.” My love for photographing babies began when my daughter was born, and it just continued growing from there. After years of workshops and courses, I am proud to offer a customized photography experience you won’t find anywhere else.

Our littles are the center of our world, and it takes a great deal of trust to hire a photographer in those first fragile moments. Rest assured that safety is my number one priority. As a 15 year veteran physician therapist assistant, I have extensive knowledge not only in safe movement of the human body, but also specialized training with the anatomy of babies and children. I am also BLS certified for all of your safety needs.

Have you stopped and visited our photography studio in Mount Pleasant, MI? Although I do offer outdoor photography for a limited number of sessions**, our studio is available for maternity, newborn, and child photography. Equipped with both high quality studio lighting as well as natural lighting, visitors get the best of both worlds in the privacy and the safety of the studio.
Choose from a selection of backdrops and tasteful props to match your home’s decor and style. You’ll love exploring the maternity and newborn closet, too. Filled with outfits, wraps and swaddles for every occasion, playing dress-up has never been more fun. All of our outfits, props, and backdrops have been cleaned and sterilized for your safety and enjoyment.
There’s plenty to see and do in Mount Pleasant, too! While you and your family are in town, be sure to grab some lunch at one of the local restaurants, or cruise the small town shops. While we do have refreshments available in the sitting room, your significant other can earn extra brownie points by bringing back lunch for you while you or your little are busy posing (after they’ve jumped into a few themselves, of course). We’ve got a variety of menus and coupons available for your convenience.
